How do I apply?

Whether applying on your own initiative or replying to a job vacancy, we prefer that you send us your application materials online. Please use our online form so that we can process your application as fast as possible. Jobboard

Are there deadlines for online applications?

Vocational Academy Program
Applications may be submitted beginning in August of the year before the program until March of the year of the program. Applications received outside of these limits will not be considered.

Trainee Program
For trainee programs, a fixed period during which applications may be submitted is specified in the program announcement, since these programs need to be planned well in advance and begin on a certain date.

Can I send my application by E-mail?

Please use our online form so that we can process your application as quickly as possible. There is an online application form available under the associated job vacancy notifications that you can use to apply for a position at OBI directly. Jobboard

How do we evaluate the applications?

After you have sent in your application, we will examine it along with any other applications we may have. You will receive immediate notification that we have received your materials. In the next step, our recruiters review the applications submitted to see if they correspond to the requirements of the job vacancies at hand. This review will last between 3 and 4 weeks. After this, you will receive either an invitation to attend a job interview or a rejection notification in the event that your profile did not fit with what we were looking for. After the job interview, should you be invited to sit for one, you will receive word of our decision as soon as we make it.
